Early intervention is KEY for setting up your child for success! Our patient, Riku, likely would've been told he needed extractions in the future. Sometimes they're unavoidable, yes, but we believe in KEEPING your teeth. Extraction is an absolute last resort at Hawaiian Smiles 🙅‍♂️

Dr. Nayak identified that Riku had no room for his permanent canines and premolars to come in, BUT, Dr. Nayak ALSO saw potential for expansion, with a likely outcome that Riku WOULDN'T need extraction in the future! 😎

We leaned full force into Invisalign, which allowed us to develop Riku's arches to make space for his incoming teeth. No extractions necessary, no more disruptions of permanent teeth erupting.

We love Riku and his powerful example of why early intervention is so important for a healthy smile. The American Association of Orthodontists recommend bringing your child in for evaluation by age 7, and that's exactly what Riku did. The results speak for themselves! 😄

We celebrate the wins here!!!

We're sooo proud of our patient, Laimana!!! He came to us with crowding, small lateral incisors, and a compromised bite. But that was no problem for us 💪 we treated him with Invisalign aligners, and he was able to stabilize his bite, resolve his crowding, and achieve a BEAUTIFUL smile.
