🚨 Now Hiring: Dental Hygienist! 🚨
Dental Care Kalamazoo is looking for a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team!

Performance Expectations:
• Recognize periodontal disease based on radiographic and clinical findings.
• Provide patient education regarding the disease process and whole-body health.
• Provide patient education regarding caries and diet.
• Take diagnostic quality images to assist during patient education and diagnosis.
• Provide exceptional preventive care, including but not limited to: scaling, polishing, flossing, sealants and professionally applied fluoride.
• Perform Non-surgical Periodontal Therapy according to the AAP guidelines and office procedure.
• Administer local anesthetic to patients when necessary.
• Appoint return re-care visits.

Essential Functions:
• Stay positive and adaptable to changes that may arise in the schedule and office.
• Maintain professionalism at all times.
• Ability to engender trust from doctors, co-workers and patients.
• Ability to work cooperatively with management, staff and patients.
• Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks in a timely and independent manner.
• Ability to communicate and express thoughts and ideas competently.

I love Dr. Rangrass and her office and all the staff. I have extreme anxiety and PTSD from other doctors in the past. It takes a lot for me to even go to the dentist. While I was there, I had a little bit of a breakdown and they were very caring and compassionate. They held my hand while I was getting the shots to numb my jaw. Everything about them and their care just comforts me and I have nothing but gratitude for them. Working in healthcare myself, I recognize when other healthcare workers deserve gratitude for a great job well done. Thank you! 😊

made change to these teeth pros upon the recommendation of a coworker and my wife and I are so glad we did. Dr Rangrass and all her staff have won over my wife and that ain't easy to do so I was very much prepared to put up with just about anything to keep us in staff's good graces during my first visit for a cleaning but from front end staff to Nicole the hygienist all were top notch and tolerated my post work grumpy old man routine with professionalism and efficiency, the cleaning was the quickest and least uncomfortable I've experienced in forever and almost makes me want to gargle with blueberry juice and coffee daily just so I need cleaning more often, will definitely recommend services to one and all
