🦷 What Does an Endodontist Do?

Many people aren’t sure what makes an endodontist different from a general dentist. Endodontists are specialists who receive 2–3 additional years of advanced training focused specifically on diagnosing tooth pain and performing root canal treatment.

At our practice in Jupiter, we use advanced technology and techniques to:

✔️ Treat infected or inflamed tooth pulp
✔️ Relieve dental pain
✔️ Save natural teeth whenever possible
✔️ Perform retreatment when a previous root canal needs attention

🔎 Common signs you may need to see an endodontist:
• Persistent tooth pain
• Sensitivity to hot or cold
• Swelling or tenderness in the gums
• Darkening of a tooth
