Talbott Family Dentistry is seeking a highly motivated, positive individual to join our rapidly growing practice as a dental assistant with cross training in front office duties. As an employee at Talbott Family Dentistry, you can expect a fun team, appreciative doctor, competitive compensation with bonus opportunities and health insurance, while providing excellent modern dental care.

Requirements of the job include, but are not limited to:

--Strong communication skills
Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
-Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-rays)
-Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
-Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
-Taking impressions of teeth for study models
-Communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g. scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing, insurance verification, ordering supplies, when necessary)

Hello! If you have Guardian Dental Insurance, this message is for you! Guardian has informed us of an internal change within their company that will become effective on August 1, 2023. Little information has been given to us but we are aware that they have sent out letters to most of their patients stating network statuses are changing. We are working with them to get clarification and will update all of our patients utilizing Guardian with what we find out.
