42yr old Ebony from North Carolina opened up a Dental Office and started booking patients without a dental license. Ebony was posing as an orthodontist. She had worked as an orthodontic assistant for more than 15 years. The dentist that she had worked for allowed her to do procedures without her being licensed. She thought she could open her own office and do braces without a degree. She had charged her patients thousands of dollars for the braces and left them in severe pain. They had to go to a real dentist to correct the damage she had done. Ebony was arrested and charged with practicing medicine without a license and three felony counts of obtaining property by false pretense.
