Remember when braces meant bulky metal bands, giant brackets, and headgear that looked like it belonged in a science experiment? 😅

Orthodontics has come a LONG way! Today’s braces are smaller, more comfortable, more efficient, and far more discreet than the appliances patients wore decades ago.

From old-school headgear and full metal bands ➡️ to modern brackets, clear aligners, digital scans, and advanced treatment technology… we’re pretty thankful for progress! 🙌

One thing hasn’t changed though: the goal of creating healthy, confident smiles. 😁✨

🏀 Braces on. Mouth guard in. Game ON! 😁

Having braces doesn’t mean sitting on the sidelines — but it DOES mean your smile needs a little extra protection! 🦷💪

If your child plays basketball or any contact sport, make sure they’re wearing a properly fitting mouthguard designed to accommodate braces. A regular mouthguard may not leave enough room for teeth to move during orthodontic treatment.
