We’re so fortunate to have family and resources that take us as far as the Pacific Northwest. Our son grew up in a dental family and pursued a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He gives back to his community every month by donating his time and skills at Shriners Hospital for Children in Portland, Oregon—treating patients with cleft lip and palate, often in complex cases that take hours to complete.

Our daughter-in-law is a dentist preparing to specialize in facial pain, and whenever they visit (or we visit them), something new and exciting always seems to happen—whether it’s a tech upgrade, a case consultation, or an idea that benefits patients on both sides.

This weekend, we enjoyed time with our grandsons and the beautiful fall colors.
And no, not all our conversations are about dentistry… just most of them! 😄🦷🍂
