This past week, our team traded our scrubs for spa robes! Dr. Kathryn Ryan treated our amazing doctors, assistants, and admin staff to a beautiful day of pampering at the Amelia Island Ritz Carlton Spa. 🌊🌴

We spend every day pouring our hearts into giving our patients the most gentle, successful care possible. Our patients are the center of our world! But last Friday was all about pouring back into the team that makes it all happen.

Nothing beats well-deserved downtime with the best team in the business! 💙

🚨 Big news from Point Meadows Dentistry.

We are excited to announce the launch of Beachside Dentistry. Because who wouldn’t want their dental appointment moved directly onto the sand? Imagine it...

A routine cleaning with sunscreen dripping into your eyes.
A gentle exam timed perfectly with a 22 mph wind gust.
A whitening consult interrupted by a toddler with a shovel.
A serious conversation about your crown while a seagull aggressively circles you.

Why sit in a clean, climate-controlled office when you could have sand in your shoes, salt in the air, humidity in your hair, and the very real possibility of a beach umbrella rolling through your treatment area?

Our featured beach services may include:
Sandy cleanings
SPF 50 smile checks
Shoreline shade matching
Ocean-breeze x-rays
Emergency dentistry, but make it coastal

April Fools! We’ll keep the dental chairs where they belong: far away from seagulls, sunburn, and airborne sand.

Dental emergencies don’t wait for a convenient time.

Whether it’s a sudden toothache, a chipped tooth, or something that just doesn’t feel right — knowing what to do in the moment can make all the difference.

If you experience:
• A broken or chipped tooth
• Persistent or worsening tooth pain
• Swelling, pressure, or signs of infection
• A knocked-out or loose tooth

Don’t ignore it.

What may seem minor can quickly progress into something more serious if left untreated. Early care can help relieve discomfort, prevent further damage, and in many cases, save the tooth altogether.

In the moment, a few simple steps can help:
Rinse gently with warm water, avoid chewing on the affected side, and use a cold compress if there is swelling. If a tooth has been knocked out, handle it carefully by the top (not the root) and try to keep it in milk until you can be seen.

Most importantly — don’t wait it out.

At Point Meadows Dentistry, we prioritize dental emergencies and will guide you clearly on what to do next and get you seen as quickly as possible. If something feels off, trust your instincts and give us a call.

This is what happens when function meets esthetics.

What started as staining, uneven edges, and misalignment is now a confident, natural-looking smile — designed specifically for this patient’s face, bite, and long-term health.

Dr. Sarah Danser takes a comprehensive approach to smile makeovers, focusing on balance, longevity, and results that don’t look “done.” Because the best smiles don’t stand out — they fit perfectly. Curious what your smile could look like? We offer complimentary cosmetic consultations.

Brightest shade possible. Better alignment. Optimized bite. Balanced smile.

This smile makeover focused on creating true harmony between esthetics and function. By enhancing the shade to the patient’s requested brightest value, correcting alignment, optimizing the bite, and reducing excessive gingival display, Dr. Sarah Danser was able to create a smile that feels just as good as it looks.

We offer complimentary cosmetic consultations so you can learn what’s possible and what it would take to achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. Finances should never be the reason you don't learn about your options. Everyone deserves to be able to sit down with a doctor, call today!

This is how we do it… at Point Meadows Dentistry.

Dental Assistants Week is here, and we’re celebrating the three women who keep everything running behind the scenes — and right beside the chair.

Kiki. Amber. Darlene.

They’re the calm before procedures, the extra set of hands every doctor depends on, and the friendly faces that make patients feel comfortable from the moment they sit down. From setting up trays and assisting with treatment to helping patients feel relaxed and cared for, they do it all — and they do it with heart.

Around here, teamwork is everything, and these three are a huge part of what makes our office special.

So this week we’re turning the music up and saying a big THANK YOU to the assistants who help us deliver great smiles every single day.

Kiki. Amber. Darlene.
This is how we do it.
