"When I was growing up, fluoride treatments weren’t available, and my two brothers and I spent many Saturday mornings at the dentist having cavities filled with a gray metal packing material. The dentist used a foot pedal to power the drill, which gave off a hot, burning smell. We rinsed into a mint-green ceramic bowl with swirling water.

Dentistry has advanced over the years, gradually. By the time I came to Dr. Pennington, I had a museum of dental work in my mouth from decades of repairs and rework. I hated my teeth.

Dr. Pennington immediately put me at ease. He examined my teeth and gums thoroughly, without judgment, and set simple priorities for treatment. Painful areas were addressed first, followed by weak spots. Recently, when one of my old front fillings broke, it became the perfect time to restore my entire smile.

Well, that front-teeth procedure was completed a few weeks ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I’m thrilled, in fact—it feels wonderful to laugh and smile freely without self-consciousness.

I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Pennington and the team at Parker and Pennington to anyone seeking excellent care and results. My husband is already scheduled for his first appointment.

The office itself is calm, welcoming, and punctual. Sandi at the desk, Kerry in the office, Karen the hygienist, Dental Assistant Danielle (always encouraging me with “Good job! Good job!”), and Yocita with her water, warm blankets, and reassurance—you are all outstanding!
