After 13 memorable years, it is with very bittersweet hearts we announce the retirement of Jodi Ahrens’ on June 8th.
We are overwhelmed with gratitude for Jodi's unwavering dedication to everything that embodies Sheets Family Dentistry. Her commitment to our dental team and every patient has been unmistakable. As you have witnessed firsthand from her warm welcome when visiting Sheets Family Dentistry, Jodi has brought an overwhelming amount of joy and laughter into our dental family since her first day. She has had an effortless way of building relationships with our family of patients and a natural ability to put everyone at ease. It has always been clear how much Jodi genuinely cares for each of you. While we are saddened for her to leave and will always deeply cherish our memories with her, we enthusiastically want to celebrate her accomplishments as she moves onto the next, and well deserved, chapter in her journey.
Jodi wanted to share a few words with everyone:
“First and foremost, I want to thank Dr. Sheets for giving me the opportunity of allowing me to do what I love most. Now in hindsight I can see God’s plan for me and know that he purposely placed Sheets Family Dentistry in my path. As most of you know, I started my career in dentistry with my brother and as heart breaking as it was to get out from underneath his wings in 2000, God’s plan was for me to end my career with the elite team at Sheets Family Dentistry.
I am completely aware I have been blessed beyond measure to be part of an extraordinary team that genuinely loves each other and look forward to spending our days together. I wish I could have written a book about the amazing memories that have been built through the years, most in which were filled with love and laughter. Memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. I have often said I haven’t worked a day because I have loved everything that I do. I have found the most fulfillment building relationships with our patients and have considered them family. Closing this chapter of my life is going to be very difficult, but I know that Kaylee is the perfect addition to the family and she is going to have as much fulfillment as I have had. I want to thank all of you for the amazing time that we have had together. I will always have a special spot in my heart for all of you!”
Our hearts our full when we think back on the past 13 years and the difference Jodi has made. She has given Sheets Family Dentistry her very best and that is what we are hoping for her in retirement. Please join us in extending the warmest well wishes to Jodi as she begins her next chapter! We love you dearly, Jodi!
