Your mouth will usually tell you when something isn't right. The question is whether you listen.
Rapidly growing lesions, sores that aren't healing, anything that looks or feels off β these are things worth paying attention to. If something was small a few weeks ago and it's noticeably larger now, that's not something to wait out.
And beyond the clinical signs? Trust your gut. If something doesn't look right or feel right, come in. That instinct exists for a reason, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with getting it checked out. It's always better to come in and be told everything is fine than to wait on something that needed attention sooner.
Early detection makes a significant difference. We'd rather see you ten times for nothing than miss something once.
