Struggling to breastfeed your baby? It could be the result of a tongue- or lip-tie.

Here's what we tell every parent in this situation:
- Get evaluated early. The sooner a tie is identified, the sooner feeding can improve.
- Work with a lactation consultant. They help pinpoint exactly what's making breastfeeding difficult.
