Today is a time to reflect on all that you are thankful for, and at DecisionOne Dental we are thankful every day for all of our amazing team members that truly are changing the way dentistry is done to improve lives.

We strive to show our thanks every day, but one of our favorite ways we get to show thanks is at our annual rally. We close all of our offices to bring everyone together for a day of inspiration, appreciation, and celebration!

As we work hard on planning next year's rally, we want to pause to look back at this past year's celebration. Seeing everyone's smiling faces participating, celebrating, and giving back reminds us all of the people behind all that we do.

We also want to express our thankfulness for all of our wonderful partners. We could not take care of patients without them, and we could not take care of our team members at our annual rally without them either.

Thank you to everyone who makes DecisionOne Dental such a special place - we are thankful for you!

As we begin this week of thankfulness, we want to share a look at an event we held earlier this month - our vendor appreciation open house!

Every year we host our vendor partners as our way of saying thanks for all that you do to help make DecisionOne the great organization it is all throughout the year. Dr. Alan J. Acierno, DDS and Dr. Michael Acierno share a few words of appreciation, we order in lunch, share some fun goodies, and let everyone take a break from their busy schedules to relax and connect with our fellow dental colleagues.

Earlier this year we relocated our support center to Itasca, IL. Since many of our partners had not seen our new space yet and many hadn't even heard of the small but mighty Village of Itasca (population 9500) we decided to theme the event as welcome to our neighborhood!

We catered in lunch from Fulla Beans -a local coffee and sandwich shop- and we gave away goodie bags with items from our new neighbors. Did you know that Jewel-Osco, Church Street Brewing Company, and Ferrara Candy Shop AKA the W***y Wonka Factory all call Itasca home? We are proud to call them neighbors and hope everyone enjoyed seeing our new space.

It was a great day and we're already looking forward to next year. Thank you to all of our vendor partners who make it possible for us to change the way dentistry is done to improve lives!

This past Saturday, volunteers from 16 locations came together at 7 offices to provide 53 veterans with nearly $55,000 worth of dental care at no cost as we celebrated Veterans Day early at our annual event.

Since starting this event in 2018, we have given away $348K worth of dentistry to 382 veterans. We are so grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who’ve given so much and we thank the brave service members who have protected our country. 🇺🇸

It's hard to believe but 4 weeks have already passed by since we celebrated the 12th Annual DecisionOne Dental Rally! Rally Day, for those unfamiliar, is the one day a year that all of our offices are closed for the day so we can all gather together for a day of motivation, inspiration & celebration!

This year, our camp counselors grabbed their whistles and bandanas, busted out the PB & Oreos, practiced their best handshakes, and invited everyone to back in time to summer camp by attending Camp D1 at the Q Center in St. Charles, IL. Henry David Thoreau inspired us that “You must not only aim right, but draw the bow with all your might”, or as we shortened it to - Aim Right, With Might!

Much like a day at camp, campers spent the day working together, doing challenges, listening to great speakers, playing capture the flag – D1 Style, giving back, and of course having fun. Some of our very own team members took the stage to share their story as well as speaker Andy Thibodeau, a former camp director, who wove his experiences, stories, and activities from camp all throughout our day, ending with everyone “making it rain”. Our friends the Rhythm Messengers were back, we celebrated PI Day the camp way – with a pie eating contest! – and honored some special campers with our MADE Awards for Making A Difference Everyday. We couldn't end without a proper St. Patrick's Day send off as we turned the place green!

It wouldn’t be a day at camp without a trip to the Community Hall – here team members could participate in a scavenger hunt, make bracelets to be donated to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, create a vision board, get their camp nickname, and visit our vendor partners. Rally day as well as each day in our offices taking care of patients would not be possible without our amazing partner sponsors.

We want to give an extra special thank you to this year’s Platinum Sponsors: Brasseler USA, Henry Schein Dental, Ottawa Dental Laboratory, and Denticon. They all accepted our challenge to get in the camp spirit when they took the stage and boy did they all blow us away.

During this month of gratitude, we literally rolled out the red carpet to welcome our amazing industry partners to a special appreciation lunch. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, enjoy a delicious meal, and share some fun goodie bags as a token of our thanks.

Doctors Alan J. Acierno, DDS and Mike Acierno shared a few words with the group to help express our deep appreciation for all the support our partners provide to make DecisionOne a success. Attendees also got a sneak peak for next year's 12th Annual D1 Rally theme. We are thankful for our partners every day, and it was great to celebrate together!
