Happy Friday! Today, in between seeing patients, we had IV training time for our assistants. Our IV sedation service for our patients is backed by extensive continued education and experience. Our lead assistant was mentoring our junior assistant and it was a beautiful sight to see. 😘🥰 Thank you for volunteering your arm! 😜

This one caught us by surprise - the 3P’s didn’t deliver. 😉 Peripheral ameloblastoma (PA) is a rare, slow-growing, benign soft tissue tumor. Only 1–5% of all ameloblastomas typically found on the gingiva, particularly the mandibular premolar region. Unlike its intraosseous counterpart, PA does not invade the bone marrow, usually resulting in a better prognosis and lower recurrence rate when treated with conservative excision. BUT the crater into the lingual crest bone was slightly concerning, so we’ll cross our fingers 🤞
