Last week we turned a business trip into a family adventure for the 2026 American Association of Orthodontist Annual Session in Orlando ✈️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Came to the conference to order supplies, explore the latest tech, and stay on the cutting edge of orthodontic treatment in order to continually provide our patients with the best care possible.

But the real highlight? Bringing the family along for the ride 💙

Every great journey begins with a name—and a story behind it...

Aviate Orthodontics was inspired by the iconic hangars of Tustin Legacy—a symbol of innovation, movement, and possibility. It’s also a tribute to travel, aviation, and the feeling of taking off toward something new.

Inspiration was also drawn from the movie Up—a reminder to stay curious, dream big, embrace the journey ahead, and always have a spirit of adventure. (Fun Fact: Up was the first movie Dr. Dinh and his wife enjoyed together)

Our colors are also part of the story. Navy, gray, and orange reflect the calm and confidence of flight, paired with the warmth of a sunset—the promise that tomorrow is a new day with new possibilities. Navy is a subtle nod (and a bit of a pun) to the Navy, who once called these hangars home. And of course, orange to honor the community we’re proud to serve here in Orange County.

At Aviate Orthodontics your teeth, smile and bite receive the same attention to detail as the thought and intent given to our name, logo and color choices. Because orthodontics isn’t just about straightening teeth—it’s about helping you take off with confidence.
