Masseter Botox has been a GAME CHANGER for my headaches + jaw pain!

4 things you might not know about me:

1️⃣ I dreamed of being an Olympic swimmer. That dream didn’t happen, but the years of intense training taught me grit, discipline, and time management. That’s what got me into dental school, ortho residency and opening my startup practice.

2️⃣ Moving around so much as a kid forced me to become the “extroverted, ditzy” girl to make friends fast. It backfired — people thought I was actually dumb. It took me years to unlearn that persona and let people see who I really am.

3️⃣ It took my husband and me 10 years to figure out our relationship... and only 1 year to build our life. We bought our dream home, had our dream wedding, and gave birth to our baby girl all in 12 months.

4️⃣ My own years in braces (long, complicated, honestly kind of brutal) are exactly why I have so much compassion for my patients. I know what it feels like and I want to give them a better experience than I had.

3 years into building my startup practice, here’s what I stopped doing:

1) Being in-network with every single insurance. Sounds good on paper, but it wastes everyone’s time. Some plans just aren’t compatible with how I want to practice — lots of free consults, barely any starts, because patients come in expecting free treatment.

2) Trying to be the cheapest option in my market. That’s not a business model, that’s a race to the bottom. Compete on quality, experience and value rather than price.

3) Believing patients who say “I’ll refer you to all my friends if you give me a bigger discount.” I don’t anymore. These tend to be the most difficult patients. Talk is cheap. Referrals are earned, not promised.

One year ago, we said “I do” surrounded by the rolling hills of Tuscany, our favorite people, and more love than we could have imagined. 🤍

In just one year, we’ve gone from newlyweds to becoming a family of three. Watching our dreams unfold together has been the greatest adventure. I love you even more today than I did on our wedding day.
