Tongue and lip ties are becoming more and more common these days. They can affect nursing, speech, breathing, and can also lead to dental crowding and even focus problems in school aged children!
In a collaboration with , this little one was referred to KIND SMILES for evaluation of lip/tongue/cheek tie due to feeding issues. The diagnosis was made and we were able to complete the release of these ties using our laser.
Immediately after, nursing was improved!
Such an honor to be able to help such an amazing and cool family and to incorporate interdisciplinary collaboration into our practice!
