Meet Casey! We are over the moon excited to welcome our new hygienist, Casey to the ICDH team! She is an Iowa native, originally from the Columbus Junction/Nichols area. She graduated from West Liberty High School and later attended Kirkwood Community College where she received her degree in Dental Hygiene. She comes to ICDH with 8+ years of hygiene experience! Casey currently lives in Coralville with her two children, Haley and Hunter, and their Dachshund, Eleanor. When asked why she chose this career path she said, "I love to meet people and learn about their lives and stories and what better way is there than by helping them learn about and improve their oral health. As a dental hygienist, we have the privilege of seeing most people two times a year, which gives us a great opportunity to review overall health and connect with patients." She has made great connections with our patients here at ICDH so far with her caring attitude and above and beyond patient care! We are very thankful to have her as a part of our team!

Dr. Yowell's son, Andrew, is back in our office for the summer before he starts at The University of Iowa College of Dentistry. He’s been providing COVID-19 screenings for our patients and has been an enormous help around the office. If you have an appointment coming up be sure to wish him the best of luck!
