To our patients, families, and community.
We would like to make you all aware that we are currently monitoring the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) closely. The health and safety of our patients, their families, our staff, and our community are of upmost importance.
We will remain open and continue to treat our patients as usual. Standard practice in our office always includes following the OSHA guidelines for infection control. This includes sterilization and disinfection between every patient, in the waiting room, as well as using a third-party company to test and monitor sterilization of our instruments. We are aware of and will continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) recommendations, and our protocols will evolve as needed along with the understanding of this virus.
One of the protocols suggested by the CDC, the ADA and the AAO is to limit the number of people in any office setting at one time. To help follow this current guideline, we please ask that for routine adjustment appointments that ONLY the patient come back to the treatment area, unless a parent/guardian is absolutely needed. Also, please limit the number of family members or friends that come to your appointments. We please ask that if you, the patient, are accompanied by a parent or guardian, that there is only ONE person with you at that time. These guidelines have been implemented to slow the trajectory of the virus if it does come to our area and we thank you for your understanding!
As always during cold and flu season, we kindly ask that you reschedule if you are feeling ill, have had a fever within the past 24 hours, or feel that you have been in contact with someone who has had these symptoms. We truly appreciate your compliance with the request as it is in the best interest of our other patients and the Cavalancia Orthodontics team.
It is vital that we all do our part to prevent the spread of ANY disease by washing our hands frequently and maintaining proper hygiene practices. Remember to respect yourself as well as those around you, as they may be in a different state of health than you are and may be affected in a different way.
Thank you for your cooperation as we all navigate this time together.
