As many of you know. The City of Independence lost a pillar of a man in our community.

After careful consideration and discussion the Independence Police Department has decided to name our future K9 "Edison" in honor of Keith Edison.

Please keep the Edison family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

And may K9 Edison continue to touch our communities hearts for the good the way Keith did.
