Idaho Falls Dental Group was founded in October 1984 by a core of eight individual private practice dentists in Idaho Falls. The idea was to pool talent, resources, facilities, and equipment into one shared setting. This pooling helps to keep operating overhead costs down and therefore, dental fees, as well. Today the group consists of eight full time general/family practice dentists and two part

time orthodontists. The group practices all disciplines of modern dentistry including cosmetic dentistry, restorative (fillings), full and partial dentures, crown and bridges, implants and oral surgery, orthodontics, children's dentistry, root canals, and preventive dentistry. The group is, therefore, keenly interested in making the dental experience as convenient, caring and comfortable as possible. For example, the mall location is intended for patient convenience; the group has plenty of evening and Saturday hours to accommodate patients' schedules; and there is always an emergency after hours doctor available to help. The group has about 30 employees including eight top notch hygienists. Most have worked for Idaho Falls Dental Group for a long time and have invaluable experience. Though it is a group, patients are free to choose their preferred doctor and hygienist. The strength of the Idaho Falls Dental Group lies in its collective experience and expertise in all dental disciplines. On average, the dentists at the group have about 30 years of dental experience, a real advantage for patients. All of the partners at the group attend many hours of continuing education every year, and utilize the most advanced techniques, materials and equipment for their practices.

Not all 🐰🍫Easter candy is created equal...
Chocolate melts & washes away easier… But the real villain here is the sticky stuff (like caramel or jelly beans)! They can cling to teeth way longer, feeding cavity-causing bacteria.

🎗️April is Oral Cancer Awareness Month and it’s more important than ever to talk about what we can’t always see. 👅Oral cancer can develop without pain or obvious symptoms, which is why regular dental visits play a critical role in early detection. During your exam, we check for subtle changes in your mouth, tongue, and throat that could indicate something more serious.

🚨Know the signs:
• Persistent sores that don’t heal
• Red or white patches
• Lumps or thickened areas
• Difficulty swallowing or chewing

Early detection is key. A quick, painless screening during your dental visit could make all the difference. 📅Haven’t had your check-up yet? This is your reminder.
