Job description
We are a faith based, family owned and operated general dental office.

BONUS : 3 day weekend, 1x per month!! PAID vacation (PTO) starts accruing on your first day!

Responsibilities:

- Be able to handle a fast paced environment
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Update and maintain patient dental records
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Experience in using Eaglesoft dental software ideal but not required
- Experience with medical coding, medical records, medical imaging, and medical documentation is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with patients of all ages
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills
