Dakota Family Dentistry is excited to be a Stretch-the-Million Industry Partner for the Build Dakota Scholarship, which provides a full-ride scholarship to students in return for a three-year work commitment.
We are sponsoring a Dental Assisting student, Mahli, who interned at our office this summer. We also sponsor a Dental Hygiene student, Rhayonna, who has worked at DFD as a dental assistant for the past year.
We are thrilled to support these two outstanding young ladies as they pursue their educational goals, and we can’t wait to have them back on the DFD team!

DFD is excited that one of our dental assistants, Rhayonna Hood, has been accepted and is attending Lake Area Technical College as part of its first-ever Dental Hygiene program!
She will graduate in August 2027, and we can’t wait for her to join Dakota Family Dentistry as a dental hygienist.
Rhayonna states, “This opportunity means so much because dental hygiene has always been a dream of mine. I’m excited to continue my education, grow my knowledge and skills, and prepare for a career where I can make a difference in the lives of others.
Most importantly, I’m so thankful for the community that has poured into me, supported me, encouraged me, and helped me along the way. I hope that through my future career, I can give back to the same community and serve others with the same kindness and support that has been shown to me.”
