Have you ever thought about water quality control and maintenance of water lines in the dental office?
We at Todd Hamer DMD want all of our patients, and our community, to know that we take water quality and cleanliness very seriously.
Our first line of defense is a fully inclusive office water filtration system that all city water must travel through prior to reaching any of the pipes in our office. This water is used in sinks and restrooms.
ALL of our dental units use self-contained water, meaning they are not connected to the city water supply. In our treatment rooms, we start with self-contained distilled water only. Each bottle of distilled water used also contains a waterline maintenance tablet that inhibits the growth of microbial contamination in dental unit waterlines, which is the standard treatment protocol recommended by the CDC, as well as the ADA, to keep water lines as safe as possible for our patients.
Rest assured that we do all we can to keep our team, and our patients, safe and healthy.
