What does it mean to see a Board Certified Orthodontist?

After dental school, orthodontists complete an additional 2–3 years of specialized residency training focused entirely on correcting bites and guiding facial development.

But not every orthodontist chooses to go through the additional process of becoming Board Certified.

Board Certification through the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) is a voluntary and rigorous process that requires orthodontists to demonstrate the highest standards of orthodontic care.

This certification represents a commitment to clinical excellence, continued learning, and the best possible outcomes for patients.

One confident new smile.

This treatment focused on more than just straightening teeth — our goal was to improve function, balance, and long-term oral health.

During treatment we addressed several key orthodontic concerns:

✔️Corrected a deep bite, allowing the upper and lower teeth to meet in a healthier, more balanced position

✔ Fixed a crossbite of the lower right canine, bringing the tooth into proper alignment with the upper arch

✔ Resolved crowding and alignment issues, creating a more even and natural smile

✔ Centered the dental midlines to improve smile symmetry and facial balance

After 18 months of braces, we achieved a healthy bite, improved alignment, and a smile this patient can feel confident about.
