This patient came to us with upper canines that had erupted outside of the dental arch, a deep bite, and improperly angled upper front teeth. Left untreated, these issues can affect both smile aesthetics and bite function.

Using braces and dedicated elastic wear, we were able to:

✔️ Bring the upper canines into proper alignment
✔️ Improve the angulation and position of the upper front teeth
✔️ Correct the deep bite
✔️ Coordinate the upper and lower arches for a healthier bite relationship

The result is a more balanced smile, improved function, and a bite that fits together the way it should.

This patient came to us after being told that jaw surgery was his only option. While surgery may have provided the most ideal correction, it wasn’t the path he wanted to take. Together, we created the best possible non-surgical treatment plan to improve his smile and bite.

Using upper and lower braces, along with outstanding elastic wear, we corrected:
✔️ An anterior crossbite
✔️ Upper and lower crowding
✔️ Significant bite coordination issues

Is his bite absolutely perfect? No—and that’s okay. Orthodontics is about creating the best possible result based on each patient’s goals and circumstances.

The outcome? A dramatically improved bite, a confident smile, and most importantly, a patient who is thrilled that he was able to avoid jaw surgery.
