It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since Julia joined the Surf City Pediatric Dentistry family! In just one year, she has made such a meaningful impact on our team and on the kiddos and families we have the privilege of caring for.

Julia, your hard work, dedication, kindness, and willingness to always give your best do not go unnoticed. We are truly grateful for everything you bring to Surf City Pediatric Dentistry-not only in the work you do, but in the heart you bring to it. ✨

Thank you for being such an important part of our team. We are so fortunate to have you, and we look forward to all the wonderful things ahead!

"Dr. Guijon and Julia were absolutely amazing from the beginning of our dental appointment until the very end. I was extremely happy with the way they treated both my daughter and me. My daughter has special needs, and they were kind, patient, compassionate, and understanding throughout the entire visit.

They made us both feel comfortable, respected, and cared for. It truly means so much to have dental professionals.." says Angelica on Google

🌊☀️ **NO SCHOOL? NO DENTIST? JUST SMILES!** 😁🦷

Surf City Pediatric Dentistry is taking a little Labor Day break!

📣 **Our office will be CLOSED Friday, September 4th and Monday, September 7th for Labor Day.**
We’ll be back soon, refreshed and ready to keep those little smiles shining bright! ✨

🏖️ **So, what is Labor Day?**

Labor Day is a special holiday celebrated on the **first Monday in September**. It’s a day to celebrate and say THANK YOU to all the hardworking people who help make our families, schools, businesses, and communities awesome! 💪❤️

Labor Day became a federal holiday in **1894**, and today it’s also a great excuse to enjoy some extra family time, sunshine, BBQs, beach days, and—of course—LOTS OF SMILES! 🌭🏄‍♀️😎

From our Surf City Pediatric Dentistry family to yours…

**HAPPY LABOR DAY!**

Have fun, stay safe, soak up the sunshine, and don’t forget to brush those pearly whites—even on vacation! 🪥✨

At Surf City Pediatric Dentistry, we’re honored to bring healthy smiles to children wherever they need us most—including alongside Choco Bear at Rady Children’s Health – Orange County’s Outpatient Surgery Center! 🧸💙

Whether a child needs specialized dental treatment under general anesthesia or extra support because of age, anxiety, special healthcare needs, or extensive dental treatment, our team is committed to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care in a hospital setting.

A big thank you to the amazing physicians, nurses, anesthesiology team, and hospital staff who work together to make every child’s experience as comfortable as possible. Together, we’re helping little smiles shine brighter every day! 😁✨

🩵 Happy International Day of Friendship! 🩵

Did you know? International Day of Friendship was established by the United Nations to celebrate the power of friendship in bringing people together, building understanding, and creating a more peaceful world. It's a wonderful reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

At Surf City Pediatric Dentistry, we believe one of the best things friends can share is a healthy smile! Encourage your little ones to be great smile buddies by reminding each other to:

🪥 Brush for two minutes, twice a day
✨ Floss every day
🥕 Choose smile-friendly snacks and water over sugary treats
😁 Cheer each other on at every dental visit

Healthy habits are easier—and more fun—when friends do them together! Tag a friend who always makes your child smile and help spread kindness, confidence, and healthy smiles today. 💙

"I was dreading this visit because my son is difficult and that has created bad experiences with previous dentist. We came in and he was the only patient there it was quiet and the staff and the provider started by talking to him and comforting him and it blew my mind when the provider was able to do a full assessment with no fighting and no tears at all. I have never in all of my son’s medical care seen him be so.." says Nicole on Google
