Halloween fun doesn’t have to mean spooky cavities! Here are 3 dentist-approved tips to keep your child’s smile strong:

1️⃣ Enjoy treats with meals – Eating candy alongside meals stimulates saliva, which helps wash away sugar and neutralize acids. 🍽️

2️⃣ Avoid sticky or hard candies – Gummies, caramels, and jawbreakers cling to teeth or can even crack them. Chocolate is a better choice since it rinses away more easily. 🍫

3️⃣ No sweets after brushing – Once teeth are brushed at night, the kitchen is closed! Late-night sugar can sit on teeth for hours, giving cavity-causing bacteria a feast. 🦷
