After years of caring for smiles at Rominger Family Dentistry, our amazing hygienist Cyndie Kamal has retired.

If Cyndie was ever your hygienist, you already know what made her special. She remembered your kids' names, asked how the garden was doing, and somehow turned a dental visit into catching up with a friend. That kind of care is not something you can teach. It is simply who she is.

Cyndie, thank you for every patient you put at ease and every smile you helped keep healthy. We miss you already, and we could not be happier for you.

If you have a favorite memory or a well wish for Cyndie, leave it in the comments. We will make sure she sees every one.

Just like that, we're heading into fall 🍂 Quick check: did everyone in the family get their cleaning and exam before the school-year rush swallowed the calendar?

If not — no guilt, just book it now. Getting on the schedule early means you're not scrambling around the holidays (which arrive faster than any of us are ready for 😅).

And if you've still got dental benefits to use this year, now's a smart time to put them to work.
📞 Book online or call — let's set your family's smiles up for a great fall. 😁

Back to school means back to playgrounds, sports, and the occasional "uh oh." 🚨 Here's when to call us right away:

🦷 Knocked-out tooth → Call now. Keep it moist (milk works), don't scrub it. Time matters.
🦷 Cracked or broken tooth → Rinse with warm water, call us same-day.
🦷 Bad toothache or swelling → Don't wait it out.it usually won't fix itself.
🦷 Lost filling or crown → Not an emergency, but get in soon.

When in doubt? Call us. We keep room for same-day emergencies — because dental pain doesn't wait.

📌 Save this, and put our number in your phone.

School picture day is sneaking up 📸 — and whether it's for the kids or for you in this season of life, feeling good about your smile changes the whole photo.

For teens and adults thinking bigger picture: clear aligners can gently straighten things out, and a professional whitening treatment can brighten your smile for the big moments (hello, senior photos and fall events ✨).

Curious what your options look like? Book a no-pressure consult — we'll walk you through it.

School's starting, but if you didn't get that checkup in yet, don't stress. There's still time (and we've kept a few spots open for exactly this) ⏳

A fresh cleaning and exam now means no surprise toothaches during the first busy weeks of school. Let's get everyone squared away.

📞 Call or book online today — we'll get your family in before the calendar fills up completely.

Quick one for parents — how much toothpaste does your child actually need? 🪥

Less than you'd think:
👶 Under 3: a tiny smear, about the size of a grain of rice
🧒 Ages 3–6: a pea-sized amount

And yes...use a fluoride toothpaste (it's the ingredient that actually prevents cavities), just teach them to spit, not swallow.

Too much foam makes it harder for little ones to spit and doesn't clean any better. A little goes a long way!

File this under "things nobody tells new parents" 😊

Meet the friendly faces behind your smile 👋

The best part of coming to the dentist? (Okay — a best part 😄) It's the people. Our team genuinely loves what they do, and it shows from the moment you walk in: gentle hands, real conversations, zero judgment.

Next time you're in, say hi! We love getting to know the families we care for. 💙

Let's be honest — summer routines get a little… loose 😅 Late nights, snacks all day, "did you brush?" Who knows.

The new school year is the perfect reset. Three easy habits to lock back in:
1️⃣ Brush morning AND night — two full minutes each
2️⃣ Don't skip the tongue (a big source of bad breath)
3️⃣ Make it easy — keep floss picks where kids will actually use them

Bonus for parents of little ones: brush together. Kids copy what they see 👀
What's your family's trick for keeping routines on track? 👇

Football, soccer, cheer, basketball — fall sports season is almost here! 🏈

And one of the easiest ways to protect your athlete is a custom mouthguard.
Store-bought guards are better than nothing, but a custom-fit one is more comfortable, stays put, and does a far better job protecting teeth from knocks and falls (dental injuries are more common than most parents realize).

A quick visit now can save a scary and expensive emergency later.
Ask us about custom mouthguards before the season kicks off. 🦷
