There is a little one who comes to see me who sings the entire Lion King soundtrack during their appointment. Start to finish. Full performance.

Sometimes the biggest victories do not look like victories at all.

Oral health is not separate from your child's overall health. It is part of it.

The number one reason children miss school -- outside of asthma in some areas -- is tooth pain. Not a cold. Not a stomach ache. Tooth pain.

When a child is hurting in their mouth, they are not sleeping well, not eating well, not learning well. It touches everything.

I share this not to worry you, but because I want every parent to understand how much this actually matters. And how much of it is preventable with the right information and the right support.

We do not rush the brush in this office. Not with our littlest butter biscuits. Not with our sugar muffins. Not with any child who sits in my chair.

I see one patient at a time.

I know that is not how every dental office works. But it is how this one works, and it is a decision I made deliberately.

When your child is in my chair, they have my full attention. Not half of it. Not the part of me that is managing three other rooms. All of it.

And every time you come to this practice, you will see the same face. Me. Because children build trust with people, not with offices. And that trust has to be consistent to mean anything.
