Welcome our new Owner Dentist at FMS Dental and Orthodontics, Dr. Uddin!!
Dr. Mehraz Uddin was born and raised in Houston, Texas and was raised by his two loving Bangladeshi parents. Dr. Uddin earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and later had the privilege of attending dental school at Western University College of Dental Medicine in Southern California for his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Dr. Uddin continued his post doctoral training by completing his Fellowship in Implantology through the University of Nevada at Las Vegas College of Dental Medicine. He holds a Fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the world’s largest and most respected Dental Implant organization. Dr. Uddin also holds a Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry, a distinction only 6% of dentists hold in the US and Canada. He is also a member of the Texas Dental Association.
Dr. Uddin moved back to treat his hometown with the highest level of expertise and personable care. Dr. Uddin is certified in Level 3 IV Sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He also has extensive experience in diode laser treatments. He has taken over 1200+ hours of continuing education courses, which is testament to his dedication to providing the most modern, high level care for his patients. Dr. Uddin provides various surgical and non-surgical procedures such as veneers, root canals, implants, wisdom teeth removal, Invisalign, sedation, All-on-X surgeries, bone and gum grafts, as well as restorative dentistry to provide comprehensive care.
Dr. Uddin enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Sierra, and their cats. He is a diehard Houston sports fan and in his free time enjoys playing sports, spending time with family, cooking, traveling and experiencing new cultures, as well as playing the saxophone.
