Fluoride strengthens enamel against acid and has decades of research showing it prevents cavities.

Hydroxyapatite is a mineral like the one naturally found in teeth. It can help remineralize enamel, and cavity-prevention studies are promising—but the evidence is less established than fluoride’s.

Our recommendation? Fluoride remains the first choice, especially for children prone to cavities.

Every day, Dr. King cares for children with autism and children who need extra time and patience at the dentist. He sits with parents, listens to their concerns, and takes the time to explain each procedure.
Families who have gone from dentist to dentist looking for the right care know how much that means. His mission is to make sure every child feels welcome and gets the care they deserve.
He’s a wonderfully skilled board certified pediatric dentist and a kind, understanding boss we all love working alongside. Please help us wish Dr. King a very happy birthday! 🦷🎂

We’re so excited to officially announce that Dr. Kevin King is fully transitioning to Knox Pediatric Dentistry! 🦷💙
Beginning 1st of December, Knox Pediatric Dentistry will be the only dental office where you can find Dr. King.
This is such an exciting next chapter for our Knox family. Dr. King is looking forward to dedicating his full time, heart, and expertise to the children and families of Knox — continuing to provide the compassionate, specialized pediatric dental care our families know and trust.

We had such a great time being out in our community and sponsoring FREE shaved ice for families at this year’s Back-to-School event! 🎒✏️
At Knox Pediatric Dentistry, being part of our community means more to us than taking care of little smiles inside our office. We love showing up, meeting our families, supporting our kids, and celebrating these special moments together. 🥰
