Every once in a while, the office’s namesake and mascot has to stop by and make sure everything’s in good order. Luckily, we are Fig-approved (don’t mention we bribed her with treats..)! While you may not see Fig during your visit, as she is related to after hours only due to her unbridled enthusiasm, you can see our amazing team every week Monday-Thursday!

Make your appointment today at figtreedentalstudio.com or call/text at 832-919-6347

If you know Dr. Asthana already, you probably know how devoted he is to continuing education. He regularly makes time to attend courses and workshops on a variety of dental topics so he can be at his best for all of the patients at Fig Tree Dental Studio!

This quote from Dr. Asthana’s recent case presentation at the Texas AGD MasterTrack program is a good summation of his philosophy and approach to his practice.

At the same conference, Dr. Asthana was recognized as an award recipient for his individual service, as a part of the Texas AGD Board, and with the Houston AGD chapter. In 2025, he was named Texas New Dentist of the Year and had the honor to announce this year’s winner!

Did you know that we send out post-op text messages after we do dental treatment for you? Usually it's to answer any post-op questions and make sure that you're feeling back to 100%... but sometimes, it's just to get compliments like this one! 🗣

We send a text message the day after any filling, deep cleaning, whitening, Invisalign treatment, TMJ treatment, crowns, or oral surgeries!

We are rooting for our pal Melanie, a pre-dental student who has been shadowing in our office, as she applies to dental school! Good luck Melanie!

This picture makes it look like we gave her cookies, but actually she kindly brought these cookies for US on her last day shadowing 🍪
