Sleep-disordered breathing in kids can be easy to overlook because the signs are often subtle. 😴💭
Snoring, mouth breathing, restless sleep, teeth grinding, trouble focusing, and daytime fatigue can all be clues that a child may not be sleeping or breathing as well as they could be.
These signs don’t automatically mean there’s a sleep disorder, but they do tell us it may be worth taking a closer look.
At West U & Tanglewood Pediatric Dentistry, we use the FairEST6 screening as part of our whole-child approach to help identify concerns early and guide families toward the right support when needed.
If you've noticed snoring, mouth breathing, restless sleep, or teeth grinding, we encourage you to mention it at your next visit.
We're here to guide you with clarity, compassion, and a whole child approach to care. 🩵
