I have some important news: After seven years of building Luxe Dental Arts into a practice grounded in biological dentistry and whole-body wellness, I’m entering an exciting new chapter — transitioning ownership to bring this same elevated standard of care to a new area of Houston, and continuing the legacy of care that has always defined this practice.

What does this mean? The physical location of Luxe Dental Arts in Sugar Land is now becoming “Regis Dental”. Please welcome Dr. Lara Regis and Dr. Glaucia Neves, skilled general and cosmetic dentists!

Luxe Dental Arts will be moving to a different area of Houston, so we are temporarily closed. Please stay tuned as we journey into our next chapter…. With much gratitude to you all, Dr. Sheth.

🦷The Oral-Systemic Investigative Series🦷

Everyone’s talking about the gut microbiome. Probiotics, fermented foods, fiber — we love all of it. 🌿

But here’s something that often gets left out of that conversation: your gut microbiome’s first stop is your mouth.

Every time you swallow, you’re sending billions of microbes from your oral environment straight down into your digestive system. When your oral microbiome is balanced and thriving, that’s a wonderful thing. When it’s out of balance — overgrown with inflammatory bacteria — that imbalance travels with it.

One of our patients had been struggling with digestive issues for years. She was working with a functional medicine doctor and doing everything right with her diet. When she mentioned it to us, we took a closer look at her oral health and found significant dysbiosis — a disrupted microbial environment in her mouth. It became one more piece of her healing puzzle.
Your mouth is the gateway to your gut. We think it deserves some spotlight. 🔦

🦷Oral-Systemic Investigative Series🦷

The Connection Your Cardiologist Hasn’t Mentioned Yet…

We had a patient — let’s call her Maria — who came in for a routine cleaning and mentioned she’d just been told her blood pressure was creeping up. She was frustrated. She was eating well, exercising, doing everything “right.”
But when we looked at her gums? They were inflamed. Bleeding on contact. A classic sign of periodontal disease.

Here’s what most people don’t know: the bacteria living in unhealthy gums don’t stay local. They enter the bloodstream, trigger inflammation, and research increasingly links this process to the same pathways involved in heart disease.

Your mouth and your heart are in constant conversation. 🫀🦷

At our practice, we’re not just cleaning teeth — we’re looking for signs that your body might be waving a flag. And gum health is one of the earliest, most accessible flags there is.
Is your heart getting the full picture of your health?

Happy National Doctor’s Day 🤍

Feeling incredibly grateful today — not just for the work I get to do, but for the people I get to do it with.

My amazing team surprised me with the sweetest gesture from Nothing Bundt Cakes 💛 and it truly meant so much. It’s a reminder that a beautiful practice is built on care, appreciation, and the little moments we create together.

To my team — thank you for your thoughtfulness and for showing up every day with heart.
To my patients — thank you for trusting me with your health and your smiles.

I’m so grateful to do what I love, with people who make it even more meaningful. ✨
