03/20/2020
Greetings from Pinnacle Pediatric Dentistry, “Where We’re Wild About Smiles!!!” To ensure the safety of our patients, team members and our community and in accordance with the U. S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), American Academy Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) and the American Dental Association (ADA) concerning COVID-19, Pinnacle Pediatric Dentistry will be closed starting on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 and will re-open as soon as we receive further guidance from the CDC, AAPD, ADA and/or Texas Dental Association (TDA). However, we will be available for any emergency treatment. Please understand that this could change at the requirement/recommendation of the CDC, AAPD, ADA or TDA.
If you have an appointment at Pinnacle Pediatric Dentistry for routine dental treatment (such as a recall examination, cleaning or a filling), the appointment has been cancelled. We will work diligently with you to reschedule your child’s dental appointment once we receive further guidance from the CDC, AAPD, ADA and TDA. We are now restricting treatment to urgent care, emergency care or care for a child that may potentially become urgent (ie. treatment of pain, swelling, trauma and infection). If your child is being seen in the dental office, we ask that only one parent/legal guardian accompany the child to the office so as to decrease the number of people in the waiting area.
f your child has a dental emergency, we will triage over the telephone to determine if they need to be seen in the dental office. So please do not hesitate to contact us a 713-863-7336 and leave a message with the operator for the on-call doctor to return your call.
This decision was not arrived at easily, and we deeply regret that we must restrict our patient care in this way. We are serving our patients in the safest manner possible by following the advice of the CDC, AAPD, ADA and TDA under these difficult circumstances. In doing this, we will safeguard the health and safety of our patients, our healthcare providers and the entire community. We hope that you understand, and we would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding. Please keep yourself, your family and our community safe during these difficult times. We will be calling you to reschedule your child’s appointment once we have a better sense of how all of this is going to unfold. Remember that we are “Houston Strong”!!!
Keep Smiling!!!!
