What inspired you to become a dental hygienist?
"Two nurses I worked with in the ER talked me into going back to school, and one specifically said I should be a dental hygienist and took me to Dr. Jason Ray's office to sit with his hygienist. I decided yes from there. A huge thank you to Darnell Toups and Melissa Long!"
What do you love most about helping patients?
"The relationships I make with them and watching how much their oral hygiene improves (most of the time)!"
What made you want to join Affordable Smiles of Houma?
"I was in need of a change, and Karen called me saying it would be a great place to work."
What can patients expect when sitting in your chair?
"I never shut up, and I honestly care about their health and well-being!"
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
"Spending time with my family, cooking, swimming in the pool, going to concerts, and hitting the beach as much as I can with my family in the summer."
Favorite local spot?
"Cristiano's and The Bunker, both in Houma!"
Fun fact about yourself?
"I talk a lot (it usually distracts people) — I like to think I have a fun, crazy personality!"
What always makes you smile?
"When my kids are happy and healthy, joyful satisfied patients, and always, always a beach."
