We know every kid’s favorite part about Halloween is of course the candy! 🎃🍭 To keep those smiles healthy, we’ve put together a guide to treats that are safer on your teeth and a few that aren’t so great. 👎🏻

🍫 Better Choices: Chocolate melts fast without clinging to your teeth. Powdery sweets like Smarties or Fun Dip are quick dissolving and leave behind little sticky residue.

🍬Use Caution: Gummies, chewy, sour candies, and hard lollipops cling to teeth and expose enamel to long periods of acid & sugar.

Tip: Have your kiddos enjoy their sweets right after meals when saliva production is highest and don’t forget to brush and floss after! 🪥
