Big news for dental hygienists considering a move to Homer!

One of the biggest concerns we've heard from hygienists interested in joining our practice has been finding housing.

So we decided to do something about it.

We've secured housing options for a future team member, making the transition to Homer a little easier.

We have:
• A furnished 1-bedroom, 1-bath apartment
• An unfurnished 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment

Both are located in town and would be offered at affordable rent to an employee who joins our team.

If you've ever dreamed of practicing in a modern, privately owned dental office while living in one of Alaska's most beautiful communities, we'd love to talk.

Our practice offers:
🦷 A brand-new facility
🦷 Supportive, experienced team
🦷 Competitive pay and benefits
🦷 A community where you can build a life, not just find a job

Know a hygienist who has always wanted to try Alaska? Please share this post or tag them below. We'd love to connect.

Summer Dental Tips!

Summer means vacations, BBQs, sports, and plenty of treats but it's also a great time to check in on your oral health.

A few simple habits can help keep your smile healthy:

• Stay hydrated (your mouth needs saliva to protect your teeth!)
• If you're sipping lemonade or sports drinks, rinse with water afterward.
• Don't use your teeth to open packages or bottles. We see more chipped teeth in the summer than you might think.
• If the kids are heading back to sports soon, now is a great time to make sure they have a properly fitted mouth guard.

A little prevention goes a long way. We hope you're enjoying everything summer in Homer has to offer!

Thank you, Luke—we really appreciate you taking the time to share this. It means a lot that you felt the care was thorough, honest, and focused on what’s actually best for you, and we’re glad our team made you feel comfortable along the way.

Four months in and we’re loving our new space!

Our hygiene rooms are fully private—with doors that close—so patients can feel comfortable and respected during their care.

And the lab? High-end, efficient, and honestly… pretty great.
Thoughtful design makes a difference—for our team and for every patient who walks through the door.

We're thrilled to receive another 5-star review! Thank you, Tracy, for trusting us with your dental care and for taking the time to share your experience.

"Dr. Richardson is what denistry should be about. Excellent communication and chairside manner. Does the work that needs to be done. Reasonable, affordable and local. I've seen a lot of denists and he is the ONE that restored my faith in denistry. Plus, Staff are outstanding and caring. They recommended only the most important repairs in my treatment. Thanks to you Doctor and your staff. I'd give 10 stars if I could."
