One of the most valuable parts of the FirstFit workflow is the mockup process.

A mockup is much more than just a preview — it allows patients to visualize their future smile before treatment even begins. By transforming a treatment plan into something tangible, it creates excitement, confidence, and trust throughout the process.

Not only does it help evaluate esthetics, smile design, phonetics, and patient expectations, but it also greatly improves communication between the doctor, patient, and laboratory. Most importantly, it gives patients the opportunity to “test drive” their new smile before moving forward.

In my experience, once patients see themselves with the mockup, the conversation often shifts from “Should I do this treatment?” to “When can we get started?”
