Cosmetic dentistry is artistry

Before I begin any cosmetic case, I need to see the final smile in my mind — the proportions, the shape, the balance, and how it will complement the patient’s face.

A beautiful result starts long before the treatment itself. It starts with careful planning, experience, and a clear vision of what we want to achieve.

Every smile is different. And that is exactly what makes cosmetic dentistry so rewarding.

Honest Advice. Thoughtful Care. Another 5-Star Google Review.

Thank you, Sharon Aluma, for sharing such a thoughtful review about your experience with Dr. Dmitry Gorbatov.

💬 “Dr. Gorbatov was wonderful! I went in looking for an honest opinion about Invisalign and whether there was anything I could do to improve the aesthetics of my bite. He took the time to explain exactly which teeth were in place, which were not, and what could realistically be done.

What I appreciated most was his honesty. He didn’t try to sell me on treatment or make me feel like I needed to change something that was already functional. In fact, he was so straightforward that he even reminded me that, in his words, ‘this is what G-d gave me and to love it.’

Everything is functional, and my concern was purely aesthetic. He made it clear that if I want to change it, I can. I really appreciated that perspective and his thoughtful, honest approach. Highly recommend!”

Your Mouth Is Connected to Your Whole Body

Oral health is not separate from overall health. Problems in the mouth can affect how you feel, function, and live every day.

At Dentistry by Dr. Dmitry Gorbatov, we look beyond just teeth. With over 34 years of experience in holistic and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Gorbatov evaluates the mouth as part of the whole body.

Several oral conditions may contribute to inflammation, discomfort, or other health concerns, including:

Periodontal disease
Chronic gum infection may contribute to systemic inflammation and has been associated with cardiovascular health concerns.

Failing root canals
Root canal-treated teeth with infection, inflammation, or symptoms should be carefully evaluated to determine the best treatment options.

Old crowns and failing restorations
When crown margins open or cement breaks down, bacteria can accumulate underneath. This may lead to decay, gum inflammation, gum recession, bad breath, and future tooth complications.

Improperly healed extraction sites
If infection or unhealthy tissue remains after an extraction, it may contribute to chronic inflammation in the bone and should be properly assessed.

Unstable bite
An imbalanced bite can affect the jaw muscles, chewing function, posture, neck tension, headaches, and overall comfort.

Mercury amalgam fillings
For patients seeking holistic dental care, old amalgam fillings may be evaluated and safely replaced when appropriate.

Your mouth often gives warning signs: bleeding gums, bad breath, gum recession, dark margins around crowns, jaw pain, headaches, tooth sensitivity, or discomfort.

If you feel that your oral health may be affecting your overall well-being, contact us for a comprehensive evaluation. We will help you understand what is happening and create a proper treatment plan focused on your health, function, and smile.
