This 13 year-old boy came to us in pain after having vital pulp therapy done by another endodontist 2 years ago. He had recurrent caries and the tooth became necrotic. Although vital pulp therapy can be a great option for kids, it can cause the canal orifices to calcify. Fortunately, Dr. Landy was able to fully instrument the canals and get the patient out of pain.

Dr. Landy had a fun week full of apicoectomies. Started with an anterior, then did a premolar, and finished with a molar. We're grateful to be able to provide this service to our patients when a nonsurgical retreatment is not the best option.

A cool case of a lateral view of a premolar. This patient began having pain 1 month after a filling was completed on this tooth. Dr. Landy did the root canal to get the patient out of pain. Looks like her root canal is hoping she feels better soon! 🤞
