The good news is that getting braces placed is not painful! You may experience some soreness for a few days after getting your braces on or after adjustments, but it typically goes away quickly as your mouth adapts.

Your aligners can only work their magic if they're in your mouth! 😁

For the best results, wear your aligners 20–22 hours each day, only removing them to eat, drink anything other than water, brush, and floss. Don't forget to switch to your next set on schedule and bring your aligners to every appointment.

Today, we celebrate an extraordinary career and a bittersweet farewell. 💙

After 18 incredible years with Khara Orthodontics & Dream Smiles, our beloved Liz is officially retiring. What makes her journey even more special is that she first came to us as the mom of one of our very first patients—and quickly became an irreplaceable part of our story.

Over the years, Liz has worn many hats, including Clinical Assistant, Lab Coordinator, Financial Coordinator, and Insurance Coordinator. In every role, she brought exceptional attention to detail, dedication, and heart. Her kindness, commitment, and willingness to help others have left a lasting impact on our team and the countless patients and families she served.
