The office of Christopher Nelis, DDS is taking a major step to help patients in a new way! We have launched Lakeshore Sleep Solutions to help anyone struggling with sleep apnea.
Our Mission:
Untreated sleep apnea is a contributing or exacerbating factor in numerous health conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, risk of stroke, heart disease and dementia. These conditions as well as the underlying concern for lack of oxygen to your brain from obstructive sleep apnea can lead to premature death by 6-8 years. Our goal is to help give these years of life back!
Our Process:
Effectively screen all patients to eliminate potential health concerns and live healthy, restful lives. We have taken the steps to coordinate with local sleep physicians to ensure a collaborative two-way referral network, conduct at-home sleep studies, and receive treatment with an oral sleep appliance. Oral sleep appliances are an effective alternative to CPAP for most individuals. To further streamline this, we have the ability to verify and bill you medical insurance to alleviate any financial obstacles.
