We've been on the hunt for the right person, and we're not stopping until we find them.

Little Red is still hiring a Scheduling Coordinator.

And if you scrolled past our last post, we need you to know something:

We are not hiring a resume. We are hiring a person.

Specifically, the one who fixes the thing nobody else noticed was broken. The person who makes a nervous kid feel like everything's going to be okay before they've said more than two sentences.

Warm. High-energy in the way that's real, not performed. Loves kids. Good with parents on hard days. Picks up the phone like they actually want to talk to you, because they do.

No dental experience required. They just need to be exactly who they already are.

✨ Meet Jennifer! ✨

Born and raised right here in Holland, Jennifer joined the Little Red team this June after graduating from dental hygiene school. She's excited to begin her career surrounded by such a supportive team and lots of little smiles! 🦷❤️

When she's not helping kiddos feel confident in the dental chair, you can find Jennifer at the beach, out on the water, exploring new restaurants, or hanging out on her family's farm in West Olive. And when we say farm, we mean FARM… cows, chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs and plenty of activity! 🐄🐓🐇

Fun fact: Jennifer spent 6 years as the lead teacher for the YMCA program at Lakeshore Elementary, so she already knows how to make kids feel comfortable and confident! 👀✨

What she loves most about Little Red is getting to watch kids grow in confidence from one visit to the next. We're so happy she's here and can't wait for you to get to know her! ❤️

Raise your hand if you've stood in the toothbrush aisle way longer than expected. 🙋😂

Here's what we actually recommend for kids:

If you go manual, always choose extra soft or soft bristles. That's the only rule.

If you go electric, we love a rechargeable one. They come with built-in two minute timers which is a game changer for getting kids to brush long enough, soft bristles, and they typically do a better job at cleaning overall.

Both options work. But if your child is open to an electric brush, it is genuinely worth it. 💛

Toothpaste questions? You're not alone. 🦷

We recommend fluoride toothpaste for kids, regardless of age.
Here's the truth: fluoride strengthens developing enamel from the very first tooth, making it more resistant to the sugars and bacteria that cause early childhood cavities. The earlier we protect that enamel, the stronger it stays.

So how do you know what you're actually buying? Check the label. "Kids" toothpaste contains fluoride. "Infant," "toddler," or "training" toothpaste usually doesn't.

And once you've got the right tube, it's all about the amount: a smear for infants, growing to a grain-of-rice size around ages 2 to 3.

Save this for your next trip down the toothpaste aisle. 💛
