We ask our patients to be brave in the chair. So it's only fair we take our turn too! 🦷

Swipe to see Dr. Danae's visit: x-rays, cleaning, polish, and fluoride. It's the same steps your child goes through at their appointment.

Keep an eye out for slide 4. Partway through, a patient needed her. So she hopped up, helped out, and came right back to finish!

Most kids brush the front teeth, flash a smile, and call it done. 😌

But there are a few spots that almost always get missed:
🦷 The back molars (that brush needs to go further back than you think)
🦷 The inside of the lower molars, where buildup loves to hide
🦷 The lower front teeth, right along the gum line

The trick is the angle. Tip the toothbrush at 45 degrees toward the gums instead of scrubbing straight across.

If you've noticed your kiddo skipping these areas, bring them in. We'll get everything cleaned up and teach them exactly how to angle that toothbrush so those teeth come out sparkly. ✨

And a quick reminder: we recommend scheduling that first visit as soon as your child's first tooth comes in, and no later than their first birthday. Starting early means we can catch things sooner and start building a positive relationship with the dentist from the very beginning.
