We are looking for a dedicated **Unit Helper** to join our team at The Reservoir Rehabilitation Facility in Marlborough, MA!
We cover all expenses associated with your CNA class and state licensing while you work with us as a Nurse Assistant Trainee, either on a full-time or part-time basis. The pay for the Trainee position is $15.00 per hour.
As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will receive hands-on training and mentorship to develop essential skills in providing care to our residents. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn under the guidance of experienced healthcare professionals. You will attend class, lab instruction, and clinical experiences to prepare for the Certified Nursing Assistant exam.
Position: Unit Helper
Location: Marlborough, MA, right off route 85
Shift: 1st & 2nd Available. Must be able to work at least 1 Weekend day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in training programs to gain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures
- Learn and apply fundamental nursing skills under supervision
- Assist nursing staff in providing daily care to residents
- Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing and grooming
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure the well-being of residents
Additional Responsibilities for Unit Helper:
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with team members and residents
- Assist with meal service and ensure dietary needs are met
Qualifications:
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
- Must be able to work flexible hours
