Every child’s smile is unique, and their dental care should be too! 🦷

While dental checkups are commonly scheduled every six months, some children may benefit from more frequent visits based on their oral health, dental history, and individual risk for cavities or gum disease.

For these children, we may recommend shorter intervals between visits to provide additional preventive care, professional cleanings, and closer monitoring of their oral health.

Our goal isn’t simply to follow a routine schedule. It’s to ensure that every child receives the right care at the right time.

They’re called mamelons, small, rounded bumps that can be visible along the edges of newly erupted permanent front teeth. They’re a normal part of tooth anatomy and are generally nothing to worry about.

As your child grows and their bite develops, mamelons often become less noticeable over time.
