This conference focuses on biological dentistry and the connection between oral health and whole-body wellness. Dentists from around the world gather to learn about the latest research, safer dental materials, and advanced treatment approaches.

Dr.Paul spent the weekend at Virginia Biological Dentistry with Dr. Hart, diving deep into the world of ceramic dental implants. It was a full training session — lecture, case discussions, and hands-on work — all focused on safer, biologically-minded implant options for patients.

Ceramic systems are becoming a serious alternative to traditional titanium, and this training covered everything from surgical protocol to long-term integration and aesthetics.
Dr. Paul left with new techniques, sharper clinical insight, and a clearer vision for expanding metal-free implant care in the practice.

Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol that is widely used in dentistry because of its benefits for oral health. Unlike regular sugar, xylitol does not feed harmful bacteria in the mouth. This helps reduce the growth of bacteria that cause tooth decay, especially Streptococcus mutans.

Xylitol also helps prevent dental caries by lowering acid production in dental plaque. With less acid, tooth enamel is protected from demineralization. In addition, xylitol stimulates saliva flow, which helps neutralize acids, wash away food particles, and support the natural remineralization of teeth.

Because of these benefits, xylitol is commonly found in sugar-free chewing gums, toothpastes, mouth rinses, and lozenges. Regular use of xylitol-containing products can help reduce cavities, improve overall oral hygiene, and support long-term dental health.
