AI can now write clinical notes, answer the office phone, and even drive cars. The internet has decided we're all about to be replaced.
We have one question: has AI ever met an 8 AM patient who "hasn't been in since before the pandemic"?

Here's our best guess at how its first day goes. 🤖🏃
In fairness, some of these tools are genuinely helpful. But a real person still takes care of you, and a real person still asks how your kids are doing. The robot can have the paperwork.

Dr. Chu is still driving himself to work, for the record. 🚗

October is Dental Hygiene Month, and Debbie's birthday was yesterday. Two reason to celebrate, so we did. With cake. At a dental office. We're aware of the irony.

If you've had a cleaning with Debbie, you already know: gentle hands, great conversation, and somehow she makes 45 minutes in the chair go by fast. She's the reason a lot of our patients actually look forward to their appointments (and admit to their flossing habit).

Happy birthday, Debbie. We're lucky to have you.

This past weekend, RoboCon New Jersey took over Bridgewater Commons and it's actually organized by local high school robotics teams, including our own Hillsborough ToboRaiders (Team 75).
While 24 other robotics teams went head to head in the Robot Rumbe, our Hillsborough students were at their own station, teaching younger kids excited to fold paper airplanes, make slime, and build pufferfish science experiments.
Watching high schoolers give up their weekend to get little kids excited about science, that's the kind of community we're proud to be part of.

Another successful case we're proud to share 😀
This patient has been with us for some time, and he's always been the one with a smile on his face. Lately, eating had gotten harder with the teeth he had left, and he knew dentures were probably the next, but like a lot of us, he hesitated.

We get it. It's a big decision, and we're here for every step of it.

Today, that smile is back, just as bright as we remembered.

Dr. Chu's weekend training lineup: Transformers Human Alliance, Nitro Truck (co-piloted by his son), and Alley Roller.

We're calling it hand-eye coordination practice. He's calling it a day off. Steady hands and good aim don't really clock out, even at the arcade.

The training doesn't stop just because the scrubs come off.

Dr. Chu just spent two days completing hands-on training on our Biolase laser technology — and we're excited about what it means for your next visit.

Laser dentistry uses focused light instead of a traditional drill, so a lot of procedures come with less discomfort, less bleeding, and faster healing. It's also quieter and often needs little to no numbing — a nice option if you're someone who gets nervous in the chair.

We keep investing in tools like this so your care stays as comfortable and precise as possible.
