this job is 80% dental assisting and 20% receptionist and will require you to commute to Scappoose office and Hillsboro office. Wednesdays, and Fridays in Scappoose, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in Hillsboro, if any patient is scheduled. Average hours per week is around 30 hours but not guaranteed. you will also need to perform the duty of front desk, checking insurance, chair side assisting, sterilization of instruments, sweeping and mopping the floors, keep the office clean. you will be trained to do front desk and dental assisting.
You will be required to get proof of vaccination of Covid-19. We will help you to get CPR certificate if you don't have one but it is required for the job.

In addition to your assisting skills, we are looking for someone with outstanding verbal skills and pleasant attitude. Our goal is to inform our patients about their dental needs and explain to them the various financial options available to them.
Must be adaptable to working with all staff members and flexible with working hours. Proficient x-ray technique. Lab duties to include model pour ups, mounting and trim, bleach trays as well as tasks the doctor may assign to you. You will be expected to perform child prophy and fluoride treatments, assist with perio charting and surgeries. Computer data entry will include clinical notes and perio charting, as well as scheduling appointments. We require excellent communication skills to answer patient questions, discuss treatment needs and to make care/concern phone calls to patients following difficult procedures. office and storage area cleanup before and after hours daily are required.
