The Straits Area Community Foundation is hosting an information session about Rx Kids on September 9th at the Cheboygan Public Library.

Rx Kids is the nation’s first-ever community-wide prenatal and infant cash prescription program and provides life-changing financial security that is universal and unconditional. The program originally started in Flint and is spreading throughout Michigan and Ohio. In April, Rx Kids launched in Montmorency County and has already impacted 34 families!

This week we are excited to share TWO opportunities to join the TBCHS team:

- Float Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant) In this unique and rewarding role, you’ll provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to patients of all ages while supporting our clinic teams across multiple locations. This position is based in Rogers City with travel to other TBCHS sites.

- Hybrid Access Specialist/ Medical Support Staff. This position combines patient access and front-office responsibilities with hands-on clinical support. Your day may include welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and assisting with billing, while also supporting providers, taking vital signs, assisting with patient care, and keeping our clinics running smoothly.
